Belgrade Drama Theatre (Serbia)
Directed by: Ana Janković
After someone reports a rape, a group of high-school students who are both witnesses and accopmlices to the crime try to piece together the story of what happened the night before, but they can’t agree on one thing – was it rape or sex?
The aim of the play to call for a reassessment of myths about rape, patriarchy and the position of women in general, in a society where sex and rape are used as synonyms and “no” still means “yes”.
