It’s a fundamental question, whether Nero is talented as a poet and as a ruler. In some situations his environment claims that he is, and in some other situations they hold the opposite. What’s the truth then? There’s no truth. Or rather, there are as many truths as men. Each and every one has his truth. From these many truths it’s possible to create one shimmering, cold, lucid, marble-like lie, which people call the truth…
